  1. beautiful quote. I wish more people read his books or watched his show (I know it is dated, still. And while Neil de Grasse does a good show of it in the revamped series, the earnestness and the sheer brilliance is lost, unlike the old one).

  2. Carl Sagan inspired me to read more about cosmology. I read my Dad’s copy of “Cosmos” from the 80’s, when I was ten or so and then discovered the TV series. He made Space so cool for a kid like me. Loved this quote here. Thank you.
    – An ardent fan.

  3. It sounds great, but it is wrong. We started as energy, expanded, gave up, and collapsed into en energy core. It is still out there. Locked in a clump of trillions of tiny energies, that became obsolete now. They were only able to react to event, and could not do anything but deliver energy/magic. Not always good magic.

  4. WE will have to go backwards in the ways we live, but make advancements in psychology and technology. Religion and Equal Rights de-motivates people and destroys everything. Sustainable living is the goal. And having fun. WE are going to be around for a while, an undeterment amount of time. We are not immortal, but reborn, until we want Nirvana.
